Uefa is set to implement a radical shake-up of Champions League seedings in time for next season
Basically, UEFA has finally decided that naming the tournament the “Champions League” should mean that the actual CHAMPIONS of the European leagues should be in the top pot for the draw. This would have meant extremely bad news for Barcelona, Arsenal, and Chelsea this past season as all of them would have been in lower-seed pots instead of Pot One. Pot One will now contain the previous year’s winners and the champions of the top seven leagues (by UEFA’s coefficients), which hey, makes TOTAL SENSE.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.
You might think England leading 2-0 at half-time sounds quite good, but it is against San Marino.
